Bathpool Park is situated in a rural area to the south of Kidsgrove. It is owned and managed by Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council and was a Green Flag Award Winner in 2014-2015.
At the Boathorse Road side of the park there are exercise machines along the tarmac path and a childrens play area. The play area is fenced and has a variety of equipment including slides, swings, rockers and climbing apparatus.
There are also several circular routes for walking/ cycling, most of the walkways are now tarmac and almost all flat. However, there are more walks in the park/ woods that are a little more challenging.
The pool has an abundance of wild life and there are fishing facilities that also includes fishing for wheel chair users- although you have to be a member of the "Kidsgrove Anglers" club.
