Part of Radobýl with abandoned basalt quarry and rich rock steppe flora is under protection as Radobýl Nature Monument (Prírodní památka Radobýl). The hill is a popular hiking destination. From huge metallic cross (erected in 1992) on the bare summit there is almost 360-degrees panoramic view over Bohemian Central Uplands, Litomerice, Terezín, Lovosice and also over Northern part of Bohemian basin. Radobýl (399 m n. m.) je vrch ležící v Ceském stredohorí. Zvedá se nad vsí Žalhostice na pravém brehu Labe, tri kilometry západne od Litomeric. Stejnojmenná prírodní památka zde byla poprvé vyhlášena Okresním národním výborem v Litomericích v roce 1966. Podmínky ochrany této lokality o rozloze 6,26 ha, nacházející se na katastrálním území Litomeric a Žalhostic, byly upresneny vyhláškou CHKO Ceské stredohorí ze dne 17. prosince 2014
