Someone had managed to gather together about 60 farm implements and wagons and has decided to put them on display. The vast majority of the farm implements are very old horse drawn machines. The collection includes plows, cultivators, harrows, discs, mowers, corn planters, farm wagons, potato diggers and planters, a hay loader, a manure spreader and two road graders. The display is immediately north of the highway and appears to be accessible 24/7/365, at no charge.
A brilliantly designed little implement, this could be used as a cultivator or a harrow, depending on what the farmer needed done at any given time. It was adjusted by simply turning the shafts on which the spring steel tines were mounted, thereby raising or lowering the tines. For a light harrowing, the tines were left to barely touch the ground while, for cultivation, they could be lowered as far as necessary to either loosen soil or uproot weeds. Light and small, only a single horse would be required to pull the implement.
