Someone had managed to gather together about 60 farm implements and wagons and has decided to put them on display. The vast majority of the farm implements are very old horse drawn machines. The collection includes plows, cultivators, harrows, discs, mowers, corn planters, farm wagons, potato diggers and planters, a hay loader, a manure spreader and two road graders. The display is immediately north of the highway and appears to be accessible 24/7/365, at no charge.
Built to be horse drawn, this disc appears to have been intended for weed control among row crops, such as corn in its early stages. The disc has a pair of three disc gangs with sizable spacing between the two. It looks like this disc could also be used to hill potatoes by making a couple of passes down a row while angling each gang appropriately. Each gang can be raised and lowered by the operator perched on his hard steel seat at the back of the machine.
Didn't find a maker's name on this one, either.
