The memorial is a bronze plaque, flanked by the church sign and a Texas Historical Marker for the First Baptist Church. At the top is an eagle with spread wings, standing between two crossed flags and a banner that says "U.S.A." Below is a scene depicting our doughboys, loading up their cannons for a volley, as well as this dedication:
