Dump Rakes known as a sulky hay rake. The principal difference between a hand rake and a power-dump rake is that with the former the operator must furnish the power for lifting the teeth to dump the hay, while in the latter the operator merely presses a small foot lever which engages pawls in t he hubs of the wheels. Then, as the rake is drawn forward, the power furnished by the team lifts the teeth. The
pawls are automatically released when the teeth have been raised.
