DE: Die Evangelische Friedenskirche stammt wahrscheinlich aus dem 10. Jahrhundert (um 960). Im Laufe des Mittelalters fanden zahlreiche Umbauten und Erweiterungen statt. Die ursprünglich katholische Kirche wurde nach der Reformation von 1517 evangelisch.
1842 wurde das inzwischen baufällige und für die Kirchengemeinde zu klein gewordene Gotteshaus bis auf den romanischen Turmstumpf abgerissen und durch die heutige klassizistische Kirche ersetzt. 1909 wurde der Turm um ein Arkadengeschoss und den neuen Turmhelm erhöht. Im Glockenstuhl sind drei Glocken vorzufinden: die Marienglocke von 1347, die Sankt Kastor-Glocke aus dem Jahr 1450 sowie die Sturm- und Feuerglocke von 1680.

EN: The Evangelical Peace Church probably dates from the 10th century (around 960). In the course of the Middle Ages numerous conversions and extensions took place. The originally Catholic church became evangelical after the Reformation of 1517.
In 1842, the now dilapidated Gotteshaus, which had grown too small for the church community, was demolished down to the Romanesque stump and replaced by the present-day classicist church. In 1909, the tower was elevated by an arcade floor and the new tower helmet. There are three bells found in the bell-tower: the Marienglocke from 1347, the Sankt Kastor bell from the year 1450 as well as the Sturm- und Feuerglocke from 1680.
