After doing some online research I discovered that this piece of equipment is a horse-drawn disc harrow, or plow for pulverizing and smoothing the soil. This particular model is made of wood which makes it older than later models I've seen online which were all metal-constructed. I don't know which company made this model. John Deere, Oliver, Rock Island and Rose all made similar disc harrows. This model could also be attached to a tractor and pulled.
