After doing some online research I came to the conclusion that this old agricultural piece of equipment must be a horse-drawn Oliver corn planter made in the late 1800s. Oliver made different styles of corn planters under the name 'Superior Corn Planters' and in later years, these corn planters could be hooked up to a tractor, eliminating the need for a horse to plant corn.
