This trailhead is located along the Wheeler Peak Scenic Drive in Great Basin National Park. The trailhead provides access to the summit of Wheeler Peak which is a 8.6 mile round trip and climbs from the trailhead at 10,161 feet to the summit at 13,063 feet. The trailhead also provides access to the Alpine Lakes Loop and Stella Lake.
