This trailhead with parking is located along the Wheeler Peak Scenic Drive in Great Basin National Park. The trailhead provides access to the Osceola Ditch Trail which extends from the Wheeler Peak Scenic Drive to the Strawberry Creek Road, a distance of 5.3 miles. The trail follows the historic Osceola Ditch which diverted water from Lehman Creek to gold mining town of Osceola nearly 18 miles away. The water was used for hydraulic mining at Osceola.
