This bronze colored disk is mounted atop a pipe at a corner of the Usery Mountain Regional Park where it abuts the Tonto National Forest. The disk is stamped U.S. General Land Office Survey - 1930 Penalty $250 for removal. The center of the disk is damaged but it is possible to make out 1/4 and S23 with a line under it with S26 below that. There is a pile of rocks at the base of the pipe. The marker can be located by following the Pass Mountain Access Trail from its beginning On Usery Pass Rd. The coordinates for the trail's beginning are N 33 29.701 w 111 37.014. The marker is approximately .6 miles east of the trail's beginning point on an angle of 89.79 degrees in a straight line.
