This flagpole is dedicated to the memory of all
the men and women buried in Morton Cemetery
who have served in the Armed Forces of our Country
from the War for independence from Mexico to the present.
It is because of their gallant service and sacrifice
that we enjoy freedom.
May they rest in peace with God’s blessing.
Given by the loving family of George Raymond Hinsley, Jr.

Marker is approximately 3x4 granite, located in front of a flagpole which flies both the American and Texas flags. To the right is a Texas Historical Marker and to the left is a map of the cemetery.
