Zum Dank für die wiedersprudelnde Marienquelle, die durch Bombenwürfe zum Ende des Krieges versiegt war, ließ 1957 Frau Gertrud Schuh der Muttergottes eine Statue aus Basaltlava errichten.
Während die linke Hand Mariens eine Wasserschale hält, segnet ihre Rechte deren Inhalt und gleichzeitig den vor ihr am Bergfuße emporquellenden Mariensprudel.

In 1957 Mrs. Gertrud's shoe of the Mother of God made a statue of basalt lava, thanks to the bizarre source of the Virgin, which had been destroyed by bombs at the end of the war.
While the left hand of Mary holds a water bowl, her rights bless their contents, and at the same time the marble bubbling up in front of her.
