A bus has plunged into a river after a bridge collapsed in heavy rain.

The driver escaped unhurt and no-one was on board during the incident at Old Laxey in the Isle of Man on Thursday.
Bus company, Bus Vannin, said it was working with emergency services to recover the bus.

Happy to report there were no passengers on board.

It was going over the bridge to turn on the coach area of the promenade when the bridge collapsed.

The driver got out safely.
