[F] Ce pigeonnier carré à colombages qui date du XVème siècle et qui ne possède qu'un seul trou d'envol, est typique de ce qu'il est coutume d'appeler dans certaines régions française : fuyes (ou fuies).
Incorporées aux bâtiments de ferme, ces constructions plus modestes que les colombiers seigneuriaux, témoignent du droit pour les roturiers de posséder un pigeonnier à condition que ceux-ci possèdent au minimum 50 arpents de terres labourables. Ces structures ne pouvaient pas dépasser cependant une capacité d'accueil de 500 boulins.

[E] This square half-timbered dovecote dating from the 15th century with only one flight hole, is typical of what it is common to call in certain French regions: fuyes (or fuies).
Incorporated in farm buildings, these structures more modest than the seigniorial dovecotes, testify to the right of the commoners to own a dovecote, provided they have at least 50 arpents of arable land. These structures could not however exceed a capacity of 500 pigeons (boulins).
