Located in front of the Talent Town Hall is a World War II memorial comprised of a marble block monumented on a marble plinth. The monument reads:

DEDICATED TO THE
MEMORY OF

RODERICK GLEN MUSE
M. THOMPSON         WAYNE V. COMBEST
ARTHUR L. LOCKWOOD         DEAN B. ASHCRAFT
ALTON G. SCHAFFER         VICTOR V. ANDERSON
CLARENCE W. MATHES         PAUL H. SCOFIELD
RICHARD E. FRYE
AND THOSE WHO SERVED IN
WORLD WAR II

The monument contains four illustrations around the names of those who served: a US Flag, an airplane to represent the Army Air Corps, a ship to represent the Navy, and a soldier hiding in some brush to represent the Army and Marines. The Town Hall that this monument resides in front of was formerly an elementary school. There's a flagpole nearby monumented by the local Lions Club that adds to the patriotic feeling in front of the building.
