A relatively new building, as are most of the churches in Troy, this is a single story, cross gabled building with a large canopy covering the entrance. The only real architectural detailing on the building consists of cedar shakes and a cross applied to the fascia of the canopy and a low river rock pony wall across the front of the narthex. Otherwise, the building is quite contemporary in design, with vinyl siding, vinyl window frames and sheet steel roofing.
The church's website includes no information concerning the age of either the congregation or the building, nor does the town's website. It does mention, however, that the church is a member of the
Montana Southern Baptist Convention which, in turn, is a member of the national Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), organized in 1845 in Augusta, Georgia.
Out front of the church is one of the
Gods 10 Ten Commandments signs which are beginning to become near ubiquitous in certain areas.
