Home 2 Home is a specialised shop for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice.

Douglas Macmillan Hospice are a local charity and the only adult hospice within North Staffordshire caring for local people with life limiting illnesses.

The Douglas Macmillan Hospice was established in 1973 as a 28-bed care facility for people facing incurable cancer, serving primarily the North Staffordshire area.
On 14th February 2013 the Hospice celebrated its 40th anniversary.

The first Dougie Mac Shop was opened in December 1994. It was run completely by volunteers and looked very different to the image they have established today.
There are now 20 Dougie Mac shops spread across North Staffordshire, including specialised shops such as Home 2 Home, Wedding Dreams, Mini Mac and a huge Warehouse based in Burslem.

Money raised in their shops makes a significant contribution every year to their funding.
