This perfectly preserved and restored timebered burgher house, located in Vít Nejedlý street (ulice Víta Nejedlého) in historic centre of Mnichovo Hradište, is great example of Czech vernacular architecture of the 2nd half of the 18th century.

This perfectly preserved and restored timebered burgher house, located in Vít Nejedlý street (ulice Víta Nejedlého) in historic centre of Mnichovo Hradište, is great example of Czech vernacular architecture of the 2nd half of the 18th century.

The late-Baroque two storey house, constructed from timber in ca 1760, was preserved also with adjacend gate and later added Classicist farming buildings (barn and cowshed). The house is one of the few surviving houses of this type in Bohemia.
