Mnichovo Hradište is a town in the Central Bohemian Region in the Czech Republic. Its population is 8 500. The town was first mentioned in 1279 and contains a Renaissance-Baroque castle which used to belong to the Wallenstein family. The remains of Albrecht von Wallenstein were moved from Jicín to the castle of Mnichovo Hradište in 1723. [wiki]
Neo-Renaissance Town Hall was built at the site of older building (it is already the fourth municipal building in the timeline...) by constructor František Dámec according to the project of architect Arnošt Jenšovský in 1893. Town Hall is one storey building with clocktower situated in the middle of the front facade.
