"The Stadtmuseum Siegburg is an archaeological, art and cultural history museum on the history of Siegburg. It was opened in May 1990 in the former Latin school at the market, the birthplace of the composer Engelbert Humperdinck. The museum documents the history of the city from its early days to the present at four exhibition levels. In addition to archeology, fossils and Renaissance Renaissance pottery, exhibitions of contemporary artists are shown. Together with two venues for 199 visitors each, the Stadtmuseum Siegburg is a cultural center in the Rhine-Sieg-Kreis district of the Rhine. Since 2014, it has been connected to the City Library of Siegen to create an open cultural center."
