The former Court House & attached Police Station (currently in use) were designed by Alexander Dawson and built of sandstone in 1858. The Courthouse has a large gabled bay facing the street with a verandah over both entrances. Large plane trees hide it somewhat from the street.

The Court House is no longer in use which is appropriate as the hamlet is isolated & has a population of 70. It is maintained by the relevant authority as it is an important heritage building.
