This trigonometric point is placed on the parking place at the highway A48 from Koblenz to its end at the Dernbacher junction point. This parking place also provides a nice scenic view to the river Rhine. The marker itself is made from granit. It can be identified by a plaque on its top with the text 'Messungspunkt'
