"CARR - Amorite J. Carr, 100, died Wednesday, January 13, 1999. She was born April 26, 1898 in LaGrange, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband Edgar, daughter Marion Carr, brother George, and sister Tossie. She is survived by her son Edgar R. Carr, Jr., three grandchildren, four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Services will be held 10AM Monday in the chapel of HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME, 729 S. Edgewood Ave. with The Rev. Albert J. Rowell officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery (gate 5). Memorials may be made to Murray Hill United Methodist Church, 4101 College Street, 32205."
