The steeple sits on a four sided tower but clever design sees the steeple have six sides. The steeple is made of Muntz metal & has an intricate lightning conductor at its apex. Muntz metal is a combination of cooper, zinc with a trace of iron & was developed by Fredrick Muntz of Birmingham in 1832.
