On the left is the long-gone 1883 Stephens County Courthouse. There are many oil wells surrounding the courthouse and there is a plane flying overhead. This section of the mural is in need of repair as the paint is peeling off.
In the center is the Burch Hotel (now the First National Bank Building). It is still the tallest building in Breckenridge.
On the right is the National Theater. In a little inset at the bottom is a picture of Basil Clemons from whose photographs this mural was painted.
