Right top shows the Breckenridge ISD building. Next to it is an old aircraft to remind us of the base. Below is the long bridge on Hwy 180 over the Hubbard Creek Lake which is a popular place for largemouth bass anglers depicted at the bottom.
The middle of the mural has Breckenridge and below that is a rancher herding his cattle. Next to him is the old archway from the 1883 courthouse that was replaced by the new courthouse pictured behind it.
Below the archway is the outline of Texas with a "We Want You Here" sign.
On the left is the old First Nationals Bank Building which is now a museum. Below that is the Buckaroo Statue that is on the roof of the Breckenridge High School. Next to the statue are a man and boy with a rifle. They appear to be shooting the oil well in front of them. Below them is a large buck with a very nice rack. At the very bottom is a ribbon with "The Mural Capitol of Texas" which is a designation awarded the city by the Texas legislature in 2001.
