Milka Kozic was born on August 8, 1932 and passed away on June 18, 2010 at the age of 77.

The dedicated bench is placed in front of a nice little park that is nicely maintained and was donated by a joint project by Communities in Bloom and the Town of Oliver and was made possible through the generous donation from the Gurdwara Bhav Sagar Taran: Oliver-Osoyoos Sikh Temple Society in 2011.
