Laurinburg 2 began its life as LOF 1. It originally was a fire truck for LOF Glass in Laurinburg, NC. The Howe pumper body is mounted on an International chassis, year approximately 1974.

It was used of for fire and EMS duties at the Glass Plant for most of it service career. The truck was given to the City of Laurinburg for use as a brush truck. Eventually, the truck was retired. Somehow it wound up on a ranch in Montana. It was recognized by a former Laurinburg resident visiting in the area. Sure enough, it was the old Laurinburg No 2, serving as a cattle watering truck and some fire duties as needed. The truck was purchased and shipped back to Laurinburg, restored, and exhibited at the Scotland County Museum,
