This large bell is near the entrance to the old fort and history museum Fort East Martello. Whilst looking for any identification markings on the bell, I noticed that there is a long crack in the bell on the side toward the fort itself. The bell is placed almost right up against a living plant to, perhaps, hide the crack, but it is visible without having to move the plant, as I did while searching.
On the base of the support I found: Meneely | West Troy, N.Y.
The inscription on the "front" of the bell states:
