This map is at the beginning of an interesting trail through the mangroves out to the main portion of West Lake.
It is mosquito infested 24/7, so either use a lot of spray or move quickly and keep moving. It is worth the walk anyway. If the wind is up, you can sit at the lake side for a bit and enjoy the view while swatting.
