A very large zinc monument on the east side of the county courthouse, dedicated to the veterans of the Civil and Spanish-American Wars who were residents of Minden city and Kearney County, Nebraska. The dedication is on the east side of the monument and names of those veterans it honors are inscribed on the other three sides.
