KIA Korean War, Private First Class Gilchrist is believed to be a member of the 15th AAA Automatic Weapons Battalion, 7th Infantry Division. He died of other causes in Korea on April 11, 1951. ABMC cites 15th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division.
