A 2.97 x 0.79 x 0.70 meter stone figure of a young woman stands on a 1.41 x 1.26 x 1.26 meter stone base looking towards the center of the Plaça de Catalunya, Barcelona. The sculpture was originally created by Josep Clarà of Montjuïc stone, a type of sandstone, in 1928. Due to erosion of the original, a new copy of of the sculpture was created and placed in the Plaça de Catalunya in 1993.
A young woman stands on a stone base. She is semi-naked; wearing only a robe tied below her hips, lower on her right side than on her left side. Her arms are crossed, left over right and resting on top of her head.
