This dedicated tree is located in Waterdown Memorial Park and is placed to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Queen of Canada and the 200th Anniversary of the War of 1812. The tree was planted by the Active History Program of the Waterdown District High School. The monument was dedicated on Canada Day 2012. Nearby is a engraved marble plaque on a stone.
