This cannon is from the First World War and it is located in Sealey Park, in south Waterdown. The 10.5 cm leichte Feldhaubitze 16 was a war trophy that was shipped to Canada after the war ended. The gun was requested by Reeve Richard Smith of Waterdown and the gun was sent on Canadian Pacific Railways to Waterdown on August 23, 1920.
Originally it was to be placed at the Memorial Hall but it was instead placed near the Boy Scout HQ at Sealey Park.
