Bermudian Government 80225 G1/9 Biological Station - St. George's Parish, Bermuda - Latin American Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This benchmark disk was placed in the 1940s at what was then known as the Biological Station. It was the 4th disk of the series in the earliest days of the Bermudian Government surveying effort.

80225 G1/9 Biological Station is located off of Ferry road at the entrance to the BIOS Station in a concrete pad with a rusty round pipe.

Bermudian benchmark data is not accessible online. To get the datasheets, we had to go to the Ministry of Public Works and meet with a surveyor, who printed out datasheets for us.

Special thanks to the Bermudian Government surveyor who graciously shared with us his time and knowledge of Bermudian benchmark designations and datasheets (not publicly available or online) that allowed us to enjoy benchmark hunting in Bermuda!
