Church Hill Cemetery is on a rise at the shore of Machias Bay, a very picturesque and pastoral location for a cemetery. As well as the zinc grave markers there are quite a number of veterans' gravesites. We were there around the Fourth of July and it was nice to see all the American Flags on the veterans' graves.
Two members of the Warren Family and their wives are buried at this headstone. They are William & Levinia and George & Mary. Their headstone is about 40 feet south of the southwest corner of the church. A fairly large zinc headstone, it is a monument styled memorial with a stepped pyramid top with an urn and finial atop. Surrounding the four inscription plate openings are buttresses, below which is a stepped base with rusticated sides.
