Located next to a parking lot on the east side of Greenhorn Park is a dedicated bench with a plaque that reads:

In Memory of
JAMES THOMAS HOLT
and LINDA LEWIS HOLT
HOLT FAMILY REUNION
2006

Research concludes that James and Lida Holt were early pioneers of Scott Valley, south of Yreka, and are buried in Fort Jones Cemetery.
