The Cerna Ruze complex of buildings consists of two buildings: land-registry number 853 Na Príkope 12 and land-registry number 894 Panská 4, Prague 1 - Nové Mesto, connected by an arcade which expands upwards to two floors of galleries. The building Na Príkope is from the 1840s and is distinguished by an interesting romantic façade according to the design of Jan David Frenzl. The alterations to the interiors are from the year 1880 and are by Josef Fanta. In 1932 a vestibule with shopping and operational spaces consisting of through Arcade from Na Príkope street to Panská street was built according to the project of the important functionalist architect Oldrich Tyl. One point of particular interest is the interior of the Black Rose Arcade with a glass-concrete vault and galleries.

=========================================================

Ta ho nejspíše pronajímala i s hostinskou živností.

Dum zachoval ulicní cáru se sousedním palácem Nosticovským (palác Sylva-Tarouccovský, cp. 852) a sestával z hlavní trípatrové budovy s romantickou fasádou do dnešních Príkopu a dlouhých nádvorních krídel.

Cernou ruži, s cp. 894, funkcionalistickou novostavbou Oldricha Tyla z let 1930-1933.
