The Greenbushes Road Board office was constructed in 1907 when the Greenbushes Road Board was established, and was used until its closure in 1970 when the town merged with Bridgetown to form the Bridgetown / Greenbushes Shire Council.
The building is constructed of rendered brick walls, with a corrugated iron hipped and gabled roof. There is a rendered parapet to the front elevation with a central triangular pediment and highlighted windows and front door detailing.
