Located within Greenhorn Park is a childrens' playground which was a project by the local Lions Club in celebration of the country's bicentennial. There's a stone monument next to the parking lot that highlights this playground's dedication and it reads:

THIS CHILDRENS' PLAYGROUND
DEDICATED TO THE CITY OF
YREKA IN HONOR OF THIS
COUNTRY'S BICENTENNIAL BY
THE
YREKA LIONS
1976

It's obvious that the playground equipment has been replaced in recent years with much newer equipment. There's also a Lions Club logo on the fence surrounding the playground.

Greenhorn Park was also a bicentennial project and dedicated to the City of Yreka in celebration of the country's bicentennial.

Condition?: Playground equipment was replaced in recent years
