Situated in a fishing village, Port Erin Lifeboat Station is one of five on the Isle of Man and has been operating for over 120 years. The Station was established by the Institution in 1883 at the request of local residents.
The new class of lifeboat Atlantic 85 B-813 "Muriel and Leslie" was placed on service on November 1st, 2006.
