This veterans memorial very basic. They did manage to make it a personal memorial as well for Maynard Gerald Fahs. They have combined a flagpole with the stone and plaque. The flagpole base is cement. The plaque is metal. The area is a large lawn with no extra schrubs, trees or flowers. It is in front of the Binghamton Town Hall so the flag does double duty as a flag for a civil entity. There is a certain efficiency about this memorial. Some landscaping would be nice. There are two flags, the US flag and a POW flag. The memorial is in from of a very basic brick town hall.
