[E] Located in the former Palais of the Archbishops of Tours, this regular garden called "à la Française" was redesigned in 1911, surrounded by yews carved in crenellations, it is composed of two flowerbeds in mosaiculture. An old bowling green, lawned with lawns used to serve as a playground for bowling, occupies the center.
The bottom of the garden, close to the English style, is composed of various trees such as micocouliers, mulberry trees, chestnut trees, linden trees and charms which overhang the rue des Ursulines.
At the entrance of the garden is a bicentenary cedar of Lebanon which is the second largest in France.
In the old stables stands the stuffed elephant Fritz, who was slaughtered on the Place Nicolas Frumeaud in 1902.
Opening hours: daily from 9am to 6pm.

Le fond du jardin, proche du style anglais, est composé d’arbres divers tels que micocouliers, mûriers, marronniers, tilleuls et charmes qui surplombent la rue des Ursulines.
