The plaque of the old cemetery which only existed for the first decade of the twentieth century contains 45 names, which is believed to commemorate only half of the total burials at the site. The vast majority of the burials were of infants either stillborn or a few days old. It is thought the cause was an epidemic of Spanish Influenza.
The cemetery is located in natural bushland on the South Western Highway 3 km north of Greenbushes
