The Fisherman is a 2.30 x 1.30 x 0.50 meter bronze sculpture created by Josep Tenas in 1928 and cast at Tanagra-M. Gimeno Foundry in Blanes, Spain. A semi-naked fisherman is wearing a loincloth tucked into a thin strap around his waist. A young man is standing while looking up towards the sky. With both hands he is holding a device around his back and shoulders used for carrying fish. His left hand is slightly higher than his right hand. The device is a curved piece of wood to which a cloth basket is attached.
