Rowena's oldest rock building is located at the intersection of the US 67 and Depot Street in Rowena.

A state historic marker at the building reads as follows:

"Oldest rock building in city. Completed in 1903. 24-inch walls are made of sand and lime mix mortar. Originally used as grain and feed store.

Recorded Texas Historic Landmark - 1967"

In 2016, the building is the home of the local VFW Post No. 9196.
