The Rowena Gas station probably dates from 1925-1930s, since that is when the rest of this commercial block was built. The station is 2 blocks off the modern route of the US 67, which would have formerly passed through town.
In 2016 this old gas station is called the Rowena Service Station, but has no gas pumps outside. It does have cold beer and will fix flats, though :)
